From the point of view of OSTEOPATHY , disorder of the structure produces disease. (A blockage of the cervical vertebrae produces a muscle contracture that results in a headache).

Similarly, the body has the ability to find its own balance on a physical, biochemical, emotional, and energetic level. The therapist's work will be aimed at helping the body reach its ideal balance. (In an ankle sprain, the therapist will treat the inflammation, re-center the ankle, look for previous imbalances in the pelvis, check the mobility of the kidney, and guide subsequent exercises to complete the recovery of the lost balance).

From PHYSIOTHERAPY and OSTEOPATHY we do not treat pathologies but patients and this is even more evident when faced with PAIN .

A minor chronic low back pain in some patients is a symptom of a vertebral alteration, osteoarthritis, herniated disc, impingement ..., while in others it is the consequence of a gynecological or digestive disorder. In others, it may even come from a meningeal retraction or simply be a sequel to a poorly healed foot sprain.

You have to listen to the pain in each person and general recipes are not useful. Pain should not be masked with painkillers, but its alarm message must be questioned. Good therapy always ends with the surrender of PAIN.

"The limit of the greatness of pleasures is the elimination of all pain. Where there is pleasure, for as long as it lasts, there is neither pain nor sorrow nor the mixture of both."

Epicurus of Samos

Dolor de espalda

PAIN it is an unequivocal symptom that something is not working properly in our body. The dysfunction that produces it has been generating alterations in our body for a long time: vertebral blocks, a muscle contracture, an inflammation of a joint ... That is why the diagnosis is essential by reviewing all the structures and organs that may be involved. We do not cure the pain, but we treat the dysfunction that produces it, and thus the pain subsides.
